How to join Kabete.

Applications to Kabete National Polytechnic are handled online through the Kabete portal on Jiunge. You can apply and pay the application fee from anywhere in the country.
Entry requirements

Entry requirements vary by programme and level. Artisan and Craft courses generally require a KCSE certificate; Certificate and Diploma courses require minimum KCSE grades or a relevant lower-level qualification. Check each course page for its specific entry requirements.

Intakes

The polytechnic runs intakes in January, May and September each year. Applications for the September 2026 intake are currently open, with reporting on 1 September 2026.
